Key Qualifications:
Active Social Worker (SW) license with School Social Worker endorsement (#071) is required Previous experience in a school or educational setting is strongly preferred Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills Ability to effectively manage caseloads and document services Skilled in providing counseling, crisis intervention, and resource referrals to students and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct intervention, counseling, and support to students dealing with social, behavioral, and academic challenges Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop strategies that foster student success Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Connect families to community resources and assist with crisis situations as needed Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality with all student records Advocate for students' needs to ensure their wellbeing and educational access Take part in professional development opportunities as appropriate This assignment runs from October 21st, 2026 through January 21st, 2027, and consists of a schedule of 35 hours per week.
