Job Description

Counselor-Reunification Therapeutic Family Time & Parenting Support Services Description:
Join our team as a Counselor, supporting families involved with child welfare. This non-clinical, hands-on role focuses on helping parents build skills, improve family functioning, and create safe, stable home environments. Meaningful, mission-driven work Supportive supervision and team environment Ongoing training and professional development Opportunity to grow in the human services field What You Will Do (Day-to Day): Provide in-home and community-based family support services ​ Coach and guide parents in effective parenting skills and child development ​ Develop and monitor family service plans and goal progress Supervise and support family interactions and reunification efforts Partner with DCF, caseworkers, and community providers Connect families to local resources and support services ​ Maintain timely and accurate documentation and case records ​ Facilitate parenting groups and skill-building sessions
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant human services field (required) with two years of experience preferred Experience in family services, case management, or community-based support preferred ​ Knowledge of child development and parenting practices ​ Ability to work independently in home and community settings Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Schedule:
Full-time position is 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m-5:00 p.m.) Flexible schedule may include some evening and weekend hours to meet the program/family's needs.
Salary Range:
$19.00 - $21.50 per hour depending on experience
Bilingual Spanish/English Fluency :
$19.96- $22.59 per hour depending on experience.

Work Location:
In-person. This role requires a hands-on presence to deliver the best care possible. You will work directly with families in-home and in the local community.
