As a dedicated school social worker, your expertise will bolster students' academic, emotional, and social growth throughout the 35-hour work week.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Social Work License with School Social Worker endorsement (#071) required Previous experience in a school environment preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Passion for advocating for students and their families Flexibility and compassion in working with diverse populations
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students Collaborate with educational staff, families, and external agencies to support student needs Develop and implement intervention and prevention strategies addressing behavioral, social, and emotional issues Assist in crisis intervention, serving as a resource for students facing personal or family challenges Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP or 504 meetings as necessary Maintain accurate case records and documentation according to ethical standards
