Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the educational community through a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students within a dynamic school setting. Two full-time social work roles are open for the upcoming fall: one position focuses on high school students, while the other provides services to elementary-aged children. Both positions are onsite, Monday through Friday, for 35 hours per week, and involve engaging closely with students and school teams to conduct essential evaluations. These roles require quick adaptability to short-term assignments, as well as a strong commitment to student well-being and inclusive educational environments.
Qualifications:
Active Connecticut (CT DPH) license/certification and CT (071) endorsement required Demonstrated school-based social work experience Comfort and effectiveness in short-leave or temporary placements Strong background in conducting student evaluations Ability to work well with diverse student populations and school personnel Commitment to privacy and professional ethics in a school context
Position Details:
First opening: High school caseload Full-time contract from August 31, 2026, to October 9, 2026 Second opening: Elementary school caseload Full-time contract from August 31, 2026, to September 30, 2026 Assignment may be extended based on needs
