Two contract opportunities are available for qualified professionals seeking dynamic, onsite roles. You'll have the chance to use your expertise and provide critical support to students, families, and staff during short-term coverage for leaves.
Position Details:
Onsite assignments located in central Connecticut Waiting on confirmation for full-time or part-time hours Two distinct roles:
High School Caseload:
Starts August 24, 2026, covering a leave for approximately 4-6 weeks (exact end date TBD)
Elementary Caseload:
Dates to be determined for a similar short-leave assignment Immediate openings; interviews conducted via
Zoom Qualifications:
Valid and active Social Worker licensure/certification in Connecticut (CT DPH and CT 071) Prior experience working in school-based settings is required Skilled in supporting high school and/or elementary populations Comfortable managing responsibilities for short-term leave coverage Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct social work services to students, individually and in groups Support student mental health, well-being, and academic adjustment Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to address barriers to learning Participate in assessment, crisis intervention, and case management processes Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of student records
