Job Description

Part-time School Social Worker on a 36-week contract in Putnam, Connecticut. Responsible for delivering social work services to high school students, collaborating with school staff, and maintaining confidential case documentation. Compensation up to $60/hr based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide school social work services to students in grades 9-12, addressing individual and group needs. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement support plans. Assess student needs and refer to appropriate community resources. Maintain documentation and case files in compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide behavioral and mental health initiatives.

Qualifications:

CT School Social Worker License (071 certification). Minimum of 1 year experience in school social work. Strong communication, adaptability, and compassionate approach. Background check required for school settings.
