Full-Time, Non-Exempt At Selah Freedom , we are on the frontlines of the fight to end human trafficking. Headquartered in Sarasota, FL, we provide safe housing, outreach, teen prevention, and national awareness and training programs across the Midwest and Southeast. What You'll Do As a Residential Advocate , you'll work one-on-one with survivors of sex trafficking who are living in our residential program. Your role is to offer emotional support, ensure stability, and help survivors navigate key services like medical care, housing, mental health, and more. You'll also provide safe transportation and keep thorough documentation of services provided. You Will Facilitate assessments and treatment planning for survivors. Support access to legal, medical, housing, and counseling services. Provide consistent and compassionate transportation to appointments, work, and community resources. Document services in our secure database and attend all required meetings and trainings. Be available for flexible shifts, including weekends, overnights, and holidays. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminology, or a related behavioral science, lived or work experience will be considered in lieu of education Experience in trauma-informed environments and/or working with sex trafficking survivors. Cross-cultural competence and the ability to meet survivors where they are. Commitment to ongoing education in trauma, substance abuse, and survivor support.
