Risen Savior Academy Risen Savior Academy is a growing private Christian school currently serving students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade, with plans to expand to a full K-8 program in the coming years. We are currently seeking a caring and organized Aftercare Lead Coordinator to lead our elementary after-school program.
Position Overview:
The Aftercare Lead Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the care and supervision of elementary students (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade) after regular school hours. This role includes planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities, providing support for homework, and creating a nurturing, Christ-centered environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage students in a safe and structured environment from 2:45 PM to 5:45 PM, Monday through Friday. Plan and lead interactive activities such as games, crafts, and faith-based discussions. Provide guidance and support for students working on homework assignments. Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that reflects the values and beliefs of our Christian faith. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student needs and daily activities. Support the long-term growth of the aftercare program as the school expands.
Qualifications:
Experience working with elementary-aged children (preferred). Strong organizational and communication skills. A personal commitment to the Christian faith and a willingness to share those beliefs with students. Dependable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working in a faith-based educational setting.
