$32.00-$35.00 per hour Join Our Team and Make a Difference We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Therapist to provide mental health services to adolescents involved in the foster care system. This full-time position is based within a high school in Loxahatchee, Florida, and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with students, school personnel, caregivers, and community partners to support youth in achieving emotional and academic success. $32-$35 per hour Full-time schedule No evenings or weekends All school holidays and breaks off Meaningful work with a vulnerable and resilient population Supportive, collaborative environment within a school setting Responsibilities Provide individual counseling and therapeutic support to high school students in the foster care system. Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based interventions to address trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and other mental health needs. Collaborate with school staff, caregivers, case managers, and other professionals involved in the student's care. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and coordinate services to ensure continuity of care. Promote emotional wellness, resilience, and positive coping skills among students. Qualifications Required Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Current Florida license or registration as one of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern Registered Clinical Social Work Intern Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Registered MFT Intern Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor . Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Experience working with adolescents. Experience providing services within a school setting. Experience working with children and families involved in the foster care or child welfare system. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions.
