The right person is comfortable working with youth whose behaviors may sometimes be challenging and can help staff respond with consistency, professionalism, appropriate boundaries, and a strengths-based approach. Strong crisis-intervention and assessment skills are specifically identified as qualifications for the position. Position hours are 2pm - 6:30. There are times during the school year these hours are expanded, and continues through summer.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in social work, mental health, behavioral health, psychology, human services, or a related field. Teaching experience as well would be a plus. Three years of combined administrative and clinical experience. Previous supervisory experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and staff-management skills. Strong crisis-intervention and assessment skills. Experience working with children and/or adolescents with emotional or behavioral challenges strongly preferred. Ability to successfully complete required Florida background screening. Ability to complete and maintain required agency and program-specific training. The Person Who Will Thrive Here You understand that behavior is communication.
