POSITION OVERVIEW JOB SUMMARY
This position serves as the field placement coordinator for the Department of Social Work. The position requires the coordinator to arrange field education experiences for all undergraduate and graduate social work students. The coordinator is responsible for working as an extension of the field office to support efforts in recruiting placement sites, developing university affiliation agreements with agencies, interviewing students, completing written documentation of the student's field education experience, developing field documents, and providing training for field instructors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a closely related field, from an accredited institution. Four years of direct experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Previous experience with Bachelor in Social Work and Masters in Social Work placements. Familiarity with CSWE accreditation Capacity to foster university/community partnerships. Special Requirements or Considerations of the
