com/employment/ Position Summary Sunshine Child Programs is seeking professional, organized, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Front Desk Clerks. This role serves as the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors while helping ensure the smooth daily operation of our before and after-school programs. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, bilingual, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment that supports children, families, and school communities. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build positive relationships with parents, students, and staff are essential.

Position Type:
Part-Time Primary Responsibilities Greet and assist parents, students, visitors, and staff in a professional manner Answer phones and respond to parent inquiries Maintain accurate attendance, enrollment, and program records Assist with student sign-in/sign-out procedures Support site administration with clerical and administrative tasks Communicate program information to families and staff Ensure compliance with Child Care Licensing regulations and School Board policies Assist with supervising and engaging school-age children during program activities as needed Support the overall success and daily operations of the program Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet the following requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with school-age children and/or customer service experience High School Diploma or GED required Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English Bilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) preferred Reliable transportation Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Genuine enjoyment of working with children and families Licensing & Employment Requirements All candidates must successfully complete: Federal and local background screening, including School Board fingerprinting Standard physical examination within 48 hours of hire (scheduled and paid for by Sunshine)
Child Care Training Requirements:
Part I:
30-hour
Child Care Facility Training Part II:
15-hour Child Care Facility Training CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire (scheduled and paid for by Sunshine) Join a team dedicated to creating safe, engaging, and enriching experiences for children and families throughout Broward County.
