Passionate about student success and mental health? Cross Country Education is seeking a Certified or Licensed School Social Worker to provide the support a diverse K-12 student population needs to succeed this 2026 -2027 school year in beautiful Sebring, FL.
Position Overview:
Participate actively in Child Study, Collaborative Problem Solving, and IEP committees to identify student needs, interpret social/developmental histories, and develop integrated intervention plans. Observe, interview, and assess students in school and home settings to deliver targeted remedial services and maintain an active community resource directory to connect families with vital support agencies. Formulate long- and short-range plans aligned with district, state, and federal requirements while meticulously maintaining comprehensive casework documentation, reports, and student records. Identify and address school-related behavioral, social, or emotional issues early on, creating a supportive environment that maximizes student engagement and academic success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Social Work/Social Welfare Bachelor's Degree acceptable only with a current School Social Worker Certification Active Florida School Social Worker Certification OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Credential Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (Preferred) Why Make a Move with Cross Country Education?
Top Compensation:
Earn $48.90 - $51.50 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a School Social Worker, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
