This role focuses on practical resource coordination, Bridge of Hope leadership, family support initiatives, and stabilization systems that strengthen family outcomes. The Director of Family Stability works closely with program staff to identify family needs, coordinate support resources, and improve systems that help families move from crisis to stability. This position is family-centered and program-support focused and does not oversee fundraising, donor cultivation, sponsorships, organizational marketing, or public relations functions. This position will initially report directly to the CEO during the development and implementation phase of the role. Core Responsibilities Family Stability & Resource Coordination Help families identify and overcome barriers related to transportation, housing, employment, childcare, wellness, education, and emergency needs Coordinate referrals, practical supports, and stabilization resources for residents and alumni families Develop and maintain relationships with service providers, referral resources, churches, contractors, and community support partners Respond to urgent family stabilization needs with professionalism and compassion Bridge of Hope Leadership Serve as the primary coordinator and case management lead for the Bridge of Hope program Complete all required Bridge of Hope training and implementation requirements Coordinate support efforts involving families, mentors, volunteers, and referral partners Maintain required documentation and track family progress Family Connection & Support Initiatives Support the development of family-centered gatherings, workshops, and connection opportunities that strengthen trust, encouragement, and community among families Collaborate with staff and volunteers to create welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environments for residents and alumni families Collaboration & Systems Development Work closely with Success Coaches, Program staff, and leadership to support family outcomes Help identify recurring barriers, service gaps, and opportunities for improvement Assist in developing sustainable systems for referrals, resource coordination, follow-up, and family support tracking Supervisory Responsibilities May supervise family engagement or related support staff as assigned May oversee volunteers, mentors, interns, or contracted partners supporting family stabilization efforts Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in nonprofit leadership, family support services, ministry leadership, resource coordination, case management, or related fields Strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Passion for strengthening families and serving vulnerable populations Preferred Experience working with families experiencing housing instability or crisis Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches Experience facilitating groups, workshops, or family engagement opportunities Bridge of Hope experience or willingness to complete required training Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: compassionate and relationship-centered highly resourceful and proactive organized and solutions-oriented calm under pressure flexible, collaborative, and mission-driven passionate about helping families move toward long-term stability
