Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract A part-time Social Worker position is available at Emerson Elementary School in Kennesaw, GA, supporting young students in a school setting. This contract role will commence on August 5th, 2026, and continue through May 26th, 2027, with potential additional days for pre- and post-planning. The work schedule is approximately 15 hours per week. Responsibilities include providing social work services to a caseload of around 24 kindergarten students across four classrooms (two primary and two intermediary). Key qualifications and desired experience:

Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Educator Certification Previous experience as an LCSW in a school setting is preferred Ability to manage a caseload of young children with moderate to intensive behavioral needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Commitment to supporting student well-being and academic success
