A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Job Description

Licensed Therapists provide individual and group counseling for adults facing trauma, mental health, and substance abuse issues. Work Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with mornings for group therapy and afternoons for individual sessions, family contacts, and case management. Offer clinical supervision towards licensure and free continuing education during work hours. Opportunities available in both Men's and Women's programs, utilizing a multidisciplinary team and personalized treatment plans. Requirements:
