This position is excellent for anyone who has childcare experience as well as a passion for working with children. We are currently hiring Lead Counselors and Assistant Counselors for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 6, 2026.
OVERVIEW
Extended Day Program counselors are accountable for working as a team to ensure children have a fun and safe time before and after school. We are looking for energetic individuals who are comfortable with large groups of children and who can create and/or execute exciting activities. More Information about the Extended Day Program (EDP):- Our program serves children in grades PreK-4 - 8th grade
- Lead Positions and Assistant Positions available for designated grade levels
- EDP operates based on the school calendar (no weekends or holidays)
- EDP hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-7:30AM (Early EDP) and 2:00PM-6:00PM (Afternoon EDP)
- Must be able to physically move throughout the day, actively engaging the children
- Must be willing to work both inside and outside, weather permitting
- Must be comfortable around children and able to assist with homework, as needed
- Willing to create art projects with the children and assist them, as needed

- An effective communicator
- Must be able to pass a background check
