What they do
A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Job Description
If RN:
Need combination of of Nursing and Care Management exp in a hospital setting. Experience must include of leadership/Management exp in acute care setting Required or 5 yearsIf Social Worker:
clinical Social Worker experience, including leadership/management experience in an acute care setting Required Required Licenses and Certifications RN- Registered Nurse
- Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure If candidate is a nurse, then a current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (or compact state) Upon Hire Required or LMSW
- Licensed Medical Social Worker
- State Licensure If candidate is a social worker, then a current unrestricted licensed master social worker (LMSW) licensure in the state of Georgia Upon Hire Required Certified Case Manager Preferred CSWCM
