Job Description

Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) for a Direct Hire opportunity in Onawa, IA.
PAY RANGE
$60,000.00 to $75,000.00
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide clinical social work services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy for individuals, families, and groups. Support patients through mental health needs, behavioral health concerns, and coordination of care within an integrated healthcare setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Assist patients with accessing community resources and support services
  • Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and clinical standards of practice
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) license in Iowa required
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required
  • Experience in clinical, behavioral health, or medical social work preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
