Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited program Valid state license to practice as a School Social Worker Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the school setting
Key Responsibilities:
Support students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges through counseling, crisis intervention, and individualized planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that enhance student success Serve as a liaison between school, families, and outside agencies, ensuring a network of support Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans Provide education and training to staff and families on mental health and social-emotional learning topics You'll enjoy a dynamic school environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the satisfaction of making a lasting impact during the academic year.
