Ideal Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker (or ability to obtain before the start date) Previous experience supporting middle school students, including both general education and special education Knowledge of 8th grade developmental milestones and effective behavioral interventions Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for supporting diverse student needs
Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct social-emotional counseling and support to 8th grade students Collaborate with general and special education teachers to address student needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans Document services delivered and maintain accurate records Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
