Our services focus on building strong, collaborative relationships with caregivers and families involved with child welfare to promote positive outcomes. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Supervised Visitation Specialist to facilitate safe and supportive visitation sessions between children and their families. In this role, you will ensure that visits are conducted in a secure environment, adhering to all safety protocols, while providing emotional support and guidance. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening family bonds and promoting child welfare. Responsibilities Supervise visits between children and their caregivers in a safe, neutral environment, ensuring compliance with court orders and agency policies Monitor interactions during visits, intervening as necessary to prevent conflicts or unsafe behaviors Document visit activities accurately, including behavioral observations and any incidents that occur Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations and promote positive interactions Collaborate with families, social workers, and legal professionals to support visitation goals Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage healthy communication and relationship building Respond effectively to crises or behavioral health issues that arise during visits, ensuring safety for all participants Skills Familiarity with child protective services, child welfare practices, and family law Experience with crisis intervention and crisis management techniques Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and diverse family backgrounds Skilled in conflict management, behavioral health support, and behavioral intervention strategies Proficiency in social work principles, childcare practices, and family dynamics Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and de-escalate tense situations Join us in making a meaningful difference by supporting families through compassionate supervision and guidance.
