NOTICE OF VACANCY
July 7, 2026 Location North Ridge Middle School Effective School Year 2026-2027 General Qualifications Valid Illinois Paraprofessional license Previous experience working with children preferred B.S. Degree required Must possess basic computer skills; i.e., keyboarding, Microsoft Word Must have an experience record that indicates success in working with families Essential Job Responsibilities Lead in the development and implementation of a school's (or school district's) family engagement activities Collaborate with District leaders to develop relationships and communication with community organizations and agencies that will support student achievement Serve as a liaison to building administrators, teachers, and community service agencies Assist students and families with transition to next grade level Conduct outreach activities to increase awareness of District #118 programs and services Assist families with community resources, appointments, transportation (when needed), and paperwork Participate in building committees as appropriate Connect parents/guardians with community resources Maintain standards specified in Professional Performance Expectations for District 118 Employees Terms of Employment 180-day position with wages, hours, terms, and conditions of employment in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Board of Education and the Danville Education Association Reports to Building Administrator To Apply
