05/20/2026 Lake Forest School District 67 is seeking a June Summer School Social Worker for Extended School Year (ESY). Social workers will be paid $50/hour for instruction and $25/hour for planning. Please see the attached Summer School schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides individual and group counseling to students with disabilities enrolled in ESY Engages in support and intervention planning Assists with progress monitoring focused on student social emotional growth Provides consultation and training for faculty and administrators (general and special education) Assists with implementing behavior intervention plans and collecting data Completes IEP goal updates for students with goals in ESY Responds to student crises as needed Interacts with students in a manner that encourages respectful relationships among students and teachers Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations with staff Works cooperatively with school personnel (Principal, staff) to benefit students Communicates effectively with parents to enhance the learning process by responding to or initiating parent contacts in a timely, professional and constructive manner Executes Board of Education and building policies and procedures Uses appropriate channels to resolve concerns and problems
Qualifications:
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
