Position Summary:
The Extended Care Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during after-school hours. This role includes supervising playtime, assisting with homework or quiet activities, and maintaining a positive atmosphere that supports the school's values and community.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in a classroom, childcare, or recreational setting Virtus training (or willingness to complete upon hire) High school diploma or higher education required Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students The Archdiocese of Chicago offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and benefit programs.
