Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary-aged learners as a Social Worker in a vibrant school setting near Manteno, IL. Qualifications:
Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Social Worker Endorsement Background or experience in school-based social work preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds Dedication to confidentiality, ethics, and student advocacy
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling for elementary students Collaborate with staff and families to develop student support plans Conduct social-emotional assessments and interventions Support students navigating social, behavioral, and academic challenges Connect families with resources and coordinate with external service providers Maintain accurate and timely documentation Advocate for students' well-being and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings Caseload starts at roughly 25 students, with potential to increase
