What You'll Bring:
Valid state licensure or certification for School Social Work Previous experience supporting students in an educational or school environment Knowledge of social-emotional learning, IEP/504 processes, and crisis intervention Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently Compassion and commitment to fostering students' academic, emotional, and social success
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group counseling to address academic, social, and emotional needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support plans Participate in the development and review of student IEPs, and provide related service minutes Serve as an advocate and liaison among families, staff, and community agencies Support crisis intervention, prevention, and conflict resolution when needed Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to progress reporting
