Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced School Counselor/Social Worker near Mundelein, IL, who will provide school-based mental health services to students experiencing difficulties in educational achievement due to social, emotional, and adjustment issues. This is for an Elementary grade.
  • Serve as a liaison between school, client, home, and community mental
  • Conduct mental health counseling services
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and other staff regarding social, emotional, and behavioral Consult and collaborate with staff and parents about prevention, early interventions, and community resources and outside therapies Assist with referral and/or maintaining communication with community or private agencies for further evaluation, treatment, or services when needed Serve as a contributing member on building and district level teams (i.
e., crisis team, MTSS team, student services building teams, grade level teams, PBIS, dept meetings, etc.) Support general ed students to help solve problems or develop functional skills related to the learning environment
Skills and Experience Required:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License School Counselor endorsement Master's Degree in School Counseling Effective positive interpersonal communication skills
Pay:
$55.00 - $65.00 per hour
