Position:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join a supportive school district in Northern Illinois for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a welcoming school environment. Additional details regarding the caseload, grade levels, schedule, and daily responsibilities are currently being finalized and will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process. The district is actively interviewing and looking to fill this position for the upcoming school year.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work. Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement. Previous school-based experience preferred. Strong knowledge of IEPs, behavioral interventions, and social-emotional learning. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. How to
