Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract School Social Worker - Full-Time School Position | West Chicago, Illinois Soliant is seeking a qualified School Social Worker for a full-time school-based position in Illinois . This is an excellent opportunity to support elementary students while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and well-being.

November 5 (with the potential for a few overlap days upon the district social worker's return)
Caseload:
Approximately 35 elementary students
School Setting:
Elementary school with no specialized programs or self-contained classrooms
Pay:
$40.33-$50.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling services to students. Conduct social, emotional, and behavioral assessments. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success. Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution. Develop intervention strategies and connect families with community resources. Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines. Qualifications Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement or all required licenses and credentials to practice as a School Social Worker in Illinois. Previous school-based experience is preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
