Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution Valid licensure as a School Social Worker in Illinois Experience providing mental health and behavioral interventions within school settings preferred Strong knowledge of crisis intervention, case management, and IEP processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group counseling to support students' social and emotional needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to identify and respond to students needing extra support Conduct needs assessments and develop interventions tailored to diverse student populations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans Provide crisis response and immediate support in urgent situations Serve as a resource and advocate for students facing behavioral or family challenges This position offers the chance to make a profound difference in the lives of students, working in a collaborative, forward-thinking school community.
