Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate School Social Worker to support K-12th grade students in the Wadsworth, MI area. This position will provide specialized services to students to promote successful academic and functional performance!
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students. Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop intervention strategies. Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate support plans. Offer professional guidance and training to staff on mental health issues.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid schools license to practice as a School Social Worker Michigan. Experience working with K-12th grade students is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
