Job Description

Step into a meaningful part-time opportunity for the upcoming academic year, making a direct impact in a school-based setting near Zion, IL. This contract position is tailored for a compassionate and skilled Social Worker eager to use their expertise to uplift students, faculty, and families in an elementary environment. You'll work primarily on-site, fostering positive change and supporting student success throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a Master's degree in Social Work or related field Possess a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) Previous experience providing social work services in a school setting is strongly preferred Adept at building trust with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills Ability to commit to part-time hours (0.4 FTE), fully in-person
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct support and interventions for students with academic, emotional, or behavioral needs Conduct assessments and participate in individualized education planning Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop strategies for student success Facilitate social-emotional learning initiatives and small group sessions Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district guidelines Serve as an advocate for students, connecting them and their families to vital community resources Perks of the
