Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual for the position of a Full-Time Overnight Advocate. This role involves working closely with children and families to provide support, guidance, and intervention in various situations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child welfare and behavioral health, as well as experience in crisis management and conflict resolution. Duties Provide direct support to children and families in need of assistance. Conduct assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Implement crisis intervention strategies to address immediate concerns. Collaborate with child protective services and other agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Facilitate conflict management sessions to resolve disputes effectively. Maintain accurate documentation of interactions, assessments, and interventions. Stay informed about family law and child welfare regulations to ensure compliance. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills related to social work and behavioral health. Qualifications Experience working with children in a childcare or social work setting is preferred. Knowledge of child protective services, crisis intervention, and conflict management techniques is essential. Strong understanding of behavioral health issues affecting children and families. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams. A commitment to promoting the welfare of children and families within the community.
