In this vital role, you will coordinate services and resources to promote family stability, ensure safety, and foster positive outcomes for vulnerable families. Your proactive approach and compassionate communication will help navigate complex situations, providing stability and hope during challenging times. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage directly with parents and families, advocate for their needs, and collaborate with community partners to create lasting positive change. Duties Develop and implement individualized family plans that promote stability, safety, and well-being. Coordinate with social workers, legal professionals, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support. Conduct assessments of family dynamics, behavioral health needs, and risk factors related to family welfare. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support to families experiencing urgent or high-stress situations. Offer guidance on conflict management, behavioral health strategies, parenting skills, and financial literacy to strengthen family relationships. Monitor progress of family plans through regular follow-ups, documentation, and reporting. Advocate for parents' rights within the framework of family law and welfare policies. Qualifications Proven experience or knowledge of trauma-informed care and working with challenging populations, including parents and families, in social work, childcare, or related fields. Knowledge of family welfare best practices. Strong skills in crisis intervention and crisis management techniques. Familiarity with family law procedures and conflict management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, legal entities, and community agencies. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while maintaining professionalism.
