Position:
Family Resource/Youth Service Center Coordinator
Qualifications:
Varies by school based upon specific site needs Reports to: School Principal and District FRYSC Contact
Primary Responsibilities:
Utilizing the supports and resources of a school's Family Resource/Youth Service Center, the successful applicant will identify and coordinate the aspects of school and community services to meet the needs of children and families. By doing so, the successful applicant should reduce or eliminate barriers to learning and promote success in school for all students by addressing core action components. Duties and Responsibilities Plan, organize and implement the Family Resource/Youth Service Center program action components. Maintain current knowledge of the FRYSC program, regulations, requirements, and restrictions. Engage school, district, and community partners in planning and conducting events. Maintain good communication through written, oral, and face-to-face communication. Promote and establishes a positive working relationship with children, parents, school staff, and community agency personnel. Keep a system of required, prepared reports, records, and other documentation. Assure compliance with Federal, State and District policies. Performs additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent/designee (District Contact), principal, or advisory council.
Salary:
Salary is based on Rank and Experience according to the FRC/YSC Salary Schedule.
Position Type:
Full-Time Job Requirements Bachelor degree preferred.
