The Social Worker 5B provides advanced clinical social work services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and intervention for individuals experiencing mental health and co-occurring disorders. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus: A master's degree in social work followed by four years of social services experience. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Some key responsibilities as a Social Worker 5-B are:
Provide Advanced Clinical Services:
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide specialized counseling and clinical interventions for individuals with complex mental health, addictive, and co-occurring disorders.
Lead Clinical Supervision:
Provide clinical supervision to licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians, supporting sound clinical judgment, effective treatment planning, and high-quality behavioral health services.
Guide Complex Clinical Care:
Serve as a trusted clinical resource by providing consultation on complex cases, diagnostic considerations, crisis response, therapeutic interventions, and treatment strategies.
Promote Clinical Excellence & Professional Growth:
Coach and develop clinical staff by strengthening competencies, supporting evidence-based practices, and helping clinicians maintain ethical, professional, and licensing standards.
Ensure Quality & Compliance:
Conduct case reviews, clinical audits, and documentation reviews to promote compliance with federal, state, CARF, CCBHC, and MHSD standards while identifying opportunities to improve clinical practice and outcomes.
Provide Training & Program Consultation:
Deliver training and consultation to clinical staff and MHSD programs on evidence-based behavioral health practices, documentation standards, accreditation requirements, and effective approaches to complex treatment needs.

The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
