Family Engagement Liaison The positions of Family Engagement Liaison are being advertised for 2025-2026 school year and dependent on grant funding.Qualifications:
1.Certified staff in the building 2.Desire and interest in increasing family engagement in your school 3.Understanding of effective family engagement strategies 4.Excellent communication and organizational skills 5.Willingness to work flexible hours which may include morning(s), an evening(s) or Saturday(s) 6.Ability to develop programs that encourage all families to participateDuties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with building leadership and families to identify and plan family engagement activities that meet the needs and interests of the school community
- Coordinate with the Title I Coordinator and the Specialist for Parent Engagement to publicize family engagement activities and events using flyers, website, and the Monthly Calendar of events
- Assist with the development of the district/school/family engagement plan
- Maintain records of all family engagement activities, attendance, and surveys
- With support from the Title I office, plan a minimum of four family engagement activities that align with state standards and helping families understand curriculum
- Must attend at least one school-based PAC/Site Council meeting
- Must attend 2 after school meetings with the Specialist for
