The Liaisons primary role is to work with school administrators, teachers, and staff to promote family engagement activities that create strong school-family partnerships to support teaching and learning, student achievement, and school improvement. This also includes working with staff to create a welcoming environment that values parents as equal partners in their childrens education and serve as a bridge between school and home in ways that build trustful relationships, foster understanding, and address each stakeholders needs. The Bilingual Family Liaison reports to the Family Liaison and Language Access Coordinator who reports to and coordinates with the Assistant Superintendent of Equity and Inclusion to ensure that the established goals and performance expectations for the school year are met with success.
