JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the School Age Director, the Site Coordinator is responsible for programming and supervision of the School Age licensed program. The Site Coordinator will plan and implement a program of activities which will ensure each child's personal safety while providing entertainment, physical challenges, and learning experiences. The Site Coordinator is responsible for all billing and timely collection of payments. The Site Coordinator will uphold the employee code of conduct and will ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities reflect the mission of the Old Colony Y, and the regulating agency. S/He will display and encourage the character traits of caring, responsibility, honesty and respect in the fulfillment of all job duties, as well as perform the following job functions.
Requirements:
. Minimum of 20 years of age. . B.S. or B.A. with 9 months experience with school age children, or High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 year working with school age. . CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required. . Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months. . Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella. . Ability to create and sustain a culture of excellence and work and thrive as part of a cohesive team. Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary. Will sometimes work early morning, late nights and weekends. Strong oral communication skills required for occasional public speaking responsibilities. . Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 75lbs on occasion and 40lbs frequently (children) and move intermittently during work hours. . Ability to thoroughly understand Y-USA's three focus areas: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility; proven ability to identify and meet the needs of the health seeker Pay Transparency In order to support the Fair Compensation Strategy by the US Govt., HR Dept., clients are required to adhere to "Pay Transparency Law"; in the impacted states; that have mandated the employers to list the salary ranges in Job advertisements or postings for job opportunities and Job promotions.
