Our client is looking caring, nurturing, and energetic After-School Educators to join their Before and After-School program in Sudbury, MA. These are Direct Hire positions with the school Part-time; Monday-Friday; Academic-year employment Start date for this role is in August 2026, aligned with the school year!
Open Positions After-School Educators:
working with Kindergarten through 8th grade students Salary Starting rate: $23.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional experience; higher compensation available to qualified candidates with education degrees and/or school-aged childcare experience Benefits Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account 403(b) w/ match Paid Personal/Vacation Days Paid Holidays Child-Enrollment Discount Continuing Education Assistance Professional Development Assistance Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized area Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Collaborate with other staff to create a positive environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in the field Qualifications Must be at least 18-years-old
REQUIRED
Education:
High School Diploma
REQUIRED
Experience:
At least 6-months of verified experience working with school-aged children Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations Must meet background check eligibility
