Job Description

St. Louis School, located in Clarksville, Maryland, is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Worker for the 2026-2027 academic school year. The Cafeteria Worker is responsible for assisting with the preparation and service of nutritious meals to students in a safe and welcoming environment. Duties include meal preparation, serving food, operating within established food safety guidelines, and cleaning dining and kitchen areas following meal service. Essential Functions Communicate directly with back of the house staff, to ensure that all reasonable special requests are addressed and accommodated. Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding any personal or medical information that is shared. Preparation and serving of Breakfast and Lunch meals. Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas including the kitchen floor, refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas. Follows established Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures and food safety standards. Assists with maintaining records such as production sheets and HACCP logs. Properly stores food and supplies. Position Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to read and interpret written recipes and work instructions. Must be able to demonstrate flexibility and patience while working with both customers and co-workers. Represents in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Follows SBS and OSHA safety standards, wearing all personal protective gear. Duties require frequent lifting and carrying objects up to 40lbs., the ability to stand, bend, kneel, and do steps on a regular basis. ServSafe Certification training is available. Some computer skills.
Pay Range:
$20.00,
