A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

$67,925 - $86,109 LMSW/LGPC (1 yr. of experience pays $72k, with range up to $83k with 7 yrs.)

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm (flex 2 early evenings up to 8pm) Enjoy working virtually 1 day per week Small caseload of up to 10 youth
Responsibilities:
Provide individual therapy, incorporating methods of clinical intervention such as psychoeducation, trauma narration, cognitive restructuring, development of coping and self-regulation, life skills and stress tolerance skills Learn and implement evidence-based practices, which may include training, supervision, consultation, and/or continuing education. Provide management of assigned cases, including monitoring, and reviewing Individual Treatment Plans, Safety Plans, and Transition/Discharge Plans. Serve on the Interdisciplinary Care Team, to include consultation with the providing Psychiatrist regarding client needs and interventions. Evaluate progress towards goal attainment on a designated basis in line with individual treatment and transition/discharge plan goals. Provide trauma-informed clinical services in various settings on the campus: office setting, youth's cottage, basketball court/skating ramp, and even the new art/pottery studio! Coordinate with staff members and community resources to address needs. Participate in biweekly clinical team meetings, departmental, and weekly care team meetings.
Requirements:
