Description:
Wentworth School seeks a dynamic long-term substitute with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative atmosphere to join our team. The position will be responsible for the delivery of individual and group therapy services to special education students, 504 students and general education students who are experiencing emotional and behavior issues that impact their education. The social worker also coordinates/consults with other school support staff and community resources. This position is for a maternity leave, beginning at the start of the 26-27 school year, in August 2026 and is anticipated to continue through the end of November 2026.
Qualifications:
Licensure as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Counselor (LCPC) CHRC Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC and
CERTIFICATION MUST
be uploaded as part of your application to be considered. Maine Department of Education Certification Information can be obtained online at the department's website at https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert
