Experience:
Minimum of one year of professional experience working with children and their families who have emotional or behavioral challenges Job Description The Family Specialist II will function within the team of providers in the Treatment Foster Care Program or in community-based programs as a Behavioral Health Professional ( BHP ) or a Targeted Case Manager ( TCM ). Will work with children, families, foster families, birth families, and outside providers in a manner appropriate to the service being delivered. The goal of these services is to assist individuals in obtaining the support and skills they need to improve their level of functioning within their homes and communities. Services are provided within the framework of the clinical model that works from the client's theory of change and emphasizes the values of fairness, understanding, caring, respect, and feedback about the quality of services. The services are delivered in a variety of home, office, and community-based settings, depending on the client's needs. Must have or able to obtain conditional Behavioral Health Professional ( BHP ) certification within 30 days of employment and full certification within one year of employment. Must be able to obtain
OQMHP - PNMI
certification within one year of employment. Will require a flexible schedule. Must have a valid State of Maine driver's license and automobile liability coverage of $100,000/$300,000.
