Work in close coordination and cooperation with Church Youth Leaders.
Maintain focus on interacting with the kids.
Check children's diapers and change them as needed and in a timely manner.
Follow behavioral management policies with all youth.
Maintain a safe and positive environment that facilitates learning. (Relay any noticed safety issues or need for supplies to the Youth Ministries Coordinator.)Work with children of Spanish/English class to bridge to Corps.
Fulfill assigned responsibilities and hours during Summer Day Camp and the Christmas seasonPerform other duties as assigned
Set up and tear down events as directed by the YMC.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends (including Sundays) as needed throughout the yearMust be creative and have artistic abilities.
Must support The Salvation Army mission statement.
Preferred basic knowledge of Spanish Language.
Be trained in CPR/Basic First Aid or get training within first 90 days of employment.
Knowledgeable in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

Position Summary:
To support The Youth Ministries Coordinator (YMC) in all aspects of youth ministry, programing, and events, including overseeing employees, volunteers, care for children and provide a safe, positive, and beneficial experience in a Christian environment.Essential Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities:
Work in the gym and kitchen to help with dinnertime during Wednesday evening activities.Set up and tear down events as directed by the YMC.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Some college in children's education or equivalent combination of education and experience1+ year working with young childrenSkills, Knowledge & Abilities:
