Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of young learners as a School Social Worker in a welcoming elementary environment. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to support both Special Education and General Education students, providing vital services that empower children to thrive academically and emotionally. As a key member of the school's support team, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere. Your expertise will guide students through their developmental journey, addressing challenges and reinforcing positive behaviors.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Social Worker Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in school-based settings Strong understanding of the needs of Special Education and General Education populations Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
