This contract opportunity offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options, extending through the complete 2026-2027 school year. With a small IEP caseload and a general education focus on group counseling centered around coping skills and anxiety management, you'll have the chance to provide dedicated services and form strong connections with students.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work is required Must possess at least an LLMSW credential in Michigan Preliminary Certification through the Michigan Department of Education is essential Prior experience in a school environment is valued, though not mandatory
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver group counseling sessions to support students dealing with anxiety and coping challenges Manage a manageable IEP caseload, ensuring compliance and personalized support Collaborate with general education staff to promote mental health awareness and proactively address student concerns Maintain thorough documentation of interventions and student progress Act as a key resource for students, families, and staff regarding social-emotional needs
