Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting students and schools as a Social Worker in a contract position for the 26'-27' academic year. This is a valuable maternity leave coverage opportunity, offering full-time hours (up to 40 hours per week) and the chance to make a tangible impact in the lives of children and educators. The assignment is divided between several scheduled maternity leaves, beginning August 10th with a return extending until mid-November and a following leave beginning August 24th for a duration of 12 weeks, as well as coverage for a planned October leave.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and current full school social work certification is required and must be provided with your application. Prior experience working within schools across a diverse student population strongly preferred. Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and seamlessly support established teams.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and intervention services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster a supportive academic environment. Conduct assessments and help develop intervention strategies tailored to student needs. Maintain up-to-date and compliant case management records. Support the continuity of care and seamless transitions during team members' leaves.
