  • End of School Year We are seeking a School Social Worker to provide leave coverage across elementary school settings for the remainder of the school year.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced social worker or new graduate, as the schools are very supportive and willing to help someone build experience in different school environments. The role will involve covering multiple social work leaves throughout the school year, with one school assignment per leave. Candidates must be comfortable starting ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Must hold a valid state Social Work license through LARA Acceptable credentials include LLMSW or LMSW Must have school approval through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) Full-time preferred, but part-time candidates may be considered New graduates are welcome to apply Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working with a variety of elementary student populations Willingness to learn and support students with varying needs
Caseload & Assignment Details:
Multiple elementary school leave assignments with start dates ranging from mid-November through January, continuing through the end of the school year Full-time preferred, with part-time considered Typical caseload of approximately 25-30 students Assignments may include general elementary caseloads or severe ASD classrooms Another School Social Worker will be onsite for support at each assignment New graduates are welcome and will receive support as they gain experience across different school settings This is a great opportunity for a new graduate or experienced School Social Worker looking for a supportive environment with the chance to gain experience across multiple elementary settings.
